Text Box: Cyd Mansell missed being born on board a ship by minutes! She spent much of her first year afloat, and sailing became a large part of her childhood. She has worked in professional recruitment in London, specialising in Butlers, House, and Kitchen Staff and has been directly involved in Superyacht crew placement since 1994. “To help to create a good team on board a top level yacht is the most rewarding part of my job. I enjoy helping beginners start their career with industry advice, and to find their first placement where they can develop and become valued, useful crew members. I have especially enjoyed working with crew as they progress upwards through the industry, helping with further advice and finding future positions for them.” Many return to recruit their crew through me when they become department heads, or Captains.”
